noon Mr. Kyshe came to my room to apologise and wrote me the
letter which I annex, and that he came again this morning to
express his willingness to apologise.

if this had been a matter between private
individuals and the apology had been made as publicly as the
attack upon me I would have accepted the expression of regret.
But this is a matter in which the position of the Chief Justice
is concerned and this is not the first time Mr. Kyshe has been
most disrespectful in his bearing to me and I feel I owe it to
future Chief Justices who may have similar experiences from
this gentieran to place the matter on record by submitting it
to Your Excellency.
